Waalspad is shaped around a dialogue between the character of the existing villa and a quiet, contemporary interior.

A restrained palette of natural stone, warm oak and soft mineral finishes runs throughout the home. Bespoke elements are integrated into the architecture, creating a sense of continuity while allowing the original proportions and views towards the garden to remain present.

In the living spaces, large openings draw daylight and greenery deep into the interior. Natural stone reappears across the kitchen, fireplace and more intimate details, while subtle shifts in texture bring depth to an otherwise calm material palette.

Rather than contrasting the existing architecture, the interior introduces a softer layer: connecting old and new through material, proportion and light.
