A bespoke piece designed for Yolande and Eric, two individuals whose contrast and connection shaped the concept.

Over five decades, their relationship evolved into a dynamic equilibrium; two distinct characters growing into a shared structure without losing their individuality. This duality lies at the heart of the design.

— A COLLABORATION WITH TIM SOMERS STUDIO

YO/E reflects both their personalities through form and material.
The soft, rounded gestures in wood convey warmth, serenity, and the intuitive presence of Yolande. The textured grain and flowing lines suggest movement and quiet resilience.

In contrast, the stone introduces weight and clarity—firm, grounded, and direct. Its sharp edge brings tension and focus, echoing Eric’s strength and straightforward energy.

Together, these materials interlock as complementary elements. The composition functions only through balance: each part supports, offsets, and strengthens the other.

YO/E becomes more than furniture. It is a layered portrait of two lives—independent yet intertwined.

A symbiotic structure where form follows relationship..
